I've had the Hakko 936 for almost a year. I've built a QRP K2 with all options, four transverters and many smaller kits. I'm still using the tip that came with it.
It heats up fast, has great temperature control, light weight pen, fits my hand well, has a flexible cord that is long enough to 'reach' awkward places. Great unit.
