This is an example of what I was talking about (quoted below) that I can't think of any mechanism whereby ANY ham rig is the CAUSE of RFI, and an example of several common mechanisms within those systems that make them susceptible. Their equipment and systems SHOULD reject or signals and fail to do so, thanks to failures in design, manufacturing, and/or installation.

In other words, it is ALWAYS their fault.

Not mentioned is the RFI that their modems can generate. Reading the article confirms that it is almost a given-- especially for those with overhead utilities.
