To add to the chaos, disputes of infringement and the legitimacy of a patent are in the Federal arena while the amount of damages, if any, are decided by the state courts. Not being a patent attorney myself (my field is regulatory compliance) I have no first-hand experience with the USPTO, but abdication of statutory responsibility seems to be this generation's hallmark of Federal enforcement (including at my former Federal employer). 73 de K2ASP - Phil Kane Elecraft K2/100 s/n 5402 >From a Clearing in the Silicon Forest Beaverton (Washington County) Oregon ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
