Tony, You might want to try the noise gate menu.

The Koss looks like the Yamaha except the Koss doesn't use a biased mike element. With the Koss I had to go to FP.H. Also my breath trips the Vox but I have to have the mike gain and Vox gain quite a bit higher than the Yamaha to get similar output for both mikes. I do have a somewhat bassier voice.
