Thanks for the suggestion Chris. The response was: ./kx3util: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

It's probably a library issue. The Help folder has nothing about installation that I saw, and a Google search on Kx3util and Linux was no help.
