If switching from “MIC BTN” to “PTT” fixes the problem, then it must be related 
to the way firmware reads the mic buttons. it could be that we need to tweak 
the A-to-D thresholds a bit.

Anyone who has this issue could use the “PTT” setting as a work-around, 
assuming they don’t require the UP/DN functions.
