To follow up on Don's description, if you mount them as shown in the manual, you'll have the same orientation as needed for other transverters, the KPA100, etc. That's why the very detailed description in figures 26, 27, 28 and 29 on pages 36 and 37 of the manual XV50, XV144, and XV222 Assembly Manual were included for the connectors on the Transverter itself, and then see figure 44 on page 52 of the manual for the proper orientation of the cable connectors to mate with it.
