Then you have a configuration error in the K3S or K3 with KIO3B.
Are you using DATA/DATA A? Is CONFIG:MIC SEL = Line In? Have
you set the mic gain for 4 bars of ALC *AFTER SELECTING DATA A*
and *AFTER SELECTING MIC SEL= Line In*?
Make sure you have selected a TX tone between 1500 and 2000 Hz and
have the PWR slider at the maximum in WSJT-X.
Sorry, but I'm not sure what your 3) below suggests ... there is no Sound
Card tab under Settings, just under the Audio tab, where there is no (0)
Windows Default Sound Card option under Input or Output. What am I missing?
JT-ALERT most Certainly has a "Sound Card" selection - it is the third
item from the bottom in Settings -> Manage Settings
