Before mine arrived a few weeks ago I put exactly that question to Elecraft Support. The reply was that there would be no problem mounting the PS vertically, so long as the air clearances are observed for the air flow -- I believe it's three inches at the top and at the rear, but the manual is pretty clear on that. I've mounted mine that way. When sitting on its side the On-Off switch is conveniently near the top-rear edge. Works FB.

In looking at both the amp and the power supply I noticed both have carrying handles and rubber feet. Are these rubber feet just there for transporting the untis, or can the power supply actually be run vertically with equal efficiency and cooling as it would be horizontally?
