I ran 2018 Field day as 1E with TS-590S, KAT500, and KPA500 using a Honda 2000i and a UPS. I ran the generator in economy mode with no issues but was limiting my output power to 150 W to comply with my class limit.
Although not required by the rules, my entire station was generator powered so the UPS made generator shut down for refuel easy.
