SN 3759 just received 2 days ago (kit form) and put in operational the station. TX is fine, issue is on RX. It puts out strong spurs on 20-6M with 10M being the worst. Tested on live antennas and dummy loads, grounds on and off, all ancillary connectors removed, etc. So far this is making the use of the upper bands very difficult. Now I know the KPA500 has been around for a good amount of time so it cant be a design issue.
I have a message into Elecraft but it's the weekend and wanted to just run I by the groups to see if there are any ideas, as I mentioned it was a kit, so I may have messed something up? But one big of diagnosis was I turned off the backlight display and it reduced the spurs tremendously. Hopefully this is a one off issue and it can be resolved.
