I think you are mostly correct, although there are valid correlated
topics when trying to assist an Elecraft user with a problem, but the
number of replies you've gotten thus far expressing interest and support
for off topic threads indicates that there are folks here who don't
understand that Eric and Wayne have to wade through all that crap in
their effort to be responsive to their customer base. They moderate for
a valid reason.
It always seems to be the same folks who think that their off-topic
comments belong here. The very fact that they label it OT clearly shows
they understand they are abusing the published reflector guidelines, yet
they have the
arrogance to do so anyway. It boggles my mind.
