AND on the air. I worked Wayne when we were operating as N7N from NV during the 7th area QSO party and he answered my CQ.
It took a LONG time for Flex radios to be even slightly user-friendly, simply because the designers weren't operators. Their products started taking off when they started listening to top contesters who were beating them up about their terrible user interface.
