I think it was Eric who said, in one of the recorded interviews, that the pad controlling the K4 at "Dayton" was running Linux, and that any device that could provide a virtual machine that could run Linux could run the control software.

Also, Wayne posted that they would never run Windows in the K4. And I'll bet they don't have a deal with Apple to run MacOS/iOS. :-)
