I don't think any of the MH3 microphones were made by Heil, although I may be mistaken. I would not be surprised if Elecraft had several vendors for the microphones - a much better solution than having a single source supplier.

In any case, contact supp...@elecraft.com for assistance.  If the microphone is out of warranty, then order a new one.
