Hi all, first post to the reflector. Don't have any Elecraft gear... yet! First piece I'm considering is the XV50 transverter, and I'm wondering if the power output can be coaxed up to 27 watts -- what I need to drive my TE Systems 0552G amplifier to 400W output. All I can find in the website specs is "20 to 25 watts". I want to know if I can expect to be able to get 27W out of it reliably without having to push the envelope. And if there are any circuit mods required to get that output, what are they. (Anybody else running that setup?)
