There is no need for an expensive interface just to do CW Mike. The following link explains the process along with a warning about not doing so if it doesn't make sense to you:
https://elecraft.mailman.qth.narkive.com/OwSJDzZd/how-do-you-get-n1mm-to-send-cw-to-the-k2 I will use the link's method to key my K2, once I finish (and start) building it. Or, you could use another USB to RS-232 converter, transistor, and resistor, and plug for the K2 Key jack. I prefer fewer, not more, cables. 73, Bill, K8TE -- Sent from: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/ ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
