Thanks for the replies. I am not using split mode, and am trying to make the change from USB to DATA A in the individual bands of 20 and 15 meters. Yes, the change was made successfully for 40 meters from LSB to DATA A. Any thing else I should check? Knowing me there is probably an easy answer.

So do not expect it to be 'sticky' from band to band.
