Check the Activity section of the WSPRnet.org site: you can see which slots stations are occupied. Also, check the received signals on your display and select a vacant spot.

But it doesn't matter very much-- wspr station transmissions occur at random intervals so that stations on the same frequency will not consistently interfere with each other. This assumes everyone has selected a reasonable Tx Fraction, not 100%.

Further details: I just assembled a QRP Labs U3S standalone WSPR transmitter, with a GPS receiver. I will probably start on 30m because that is the band that is available when all the relays in my antenna switching system are open, so it will be easy to let it run while the rest of my station is off.
