AND, ( stated as kindly as I can) You'll wear out the manual before the radio. I was a Yaesu fan-boy, putting up with the seemingly endless menu's all through the various FT-1000 versions, then came the FT-2Kaput. I'm cured now and am waiting to save a few buks on the K4Kit. Guess I should probably sell my couple year old K3S package eh?

You get what you pay for. Yaesu has been making very dirty radios -- clicks and splatter have been the rule.
