Andy, I would be interested as to what the shield looks like. I have a 73xx s/n that does not have the shield. At some point near the end of the their production, K3 was built with KSYN3A.
How did you ‘ground’ the crystal cases? My radio came with the stiffener installed on the synthesizer.
