I am using the T1 with a K1 and the only problem is that the K1 can not "talk to" the T1, i.e. I have to re-tune manually every time I change bands. I believe it is the same with the K2. Currently, there is only remote interface cable for the T1+FT817 and that is why you mostly see the T1 reviewed by FT-817 owners. I would strongly recommend you to use the KAT2 in the K2, KAT1 in the K1, and keep the T1 with the FT-817 (or other qrp rigs without tuner). One could possibly also build an interface for the K2+T1, but I still think that an integrated tuner would be much better.
