My understanding is the 2222A is the military spec version. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's got to be something like that, either that or a slightly later version...... you might try googling a bit, spec sheets for common parts can be pretty easy to find, I'm always looking up the simple stuff myself. 73 de Alex NS6Y.
