Make sure the plug on the KPA-1500 isn't a 20A 220V plug which looks a lot like a regular 120V plug only the blades are rotated 90°.

Oops! I just looked at the KPA1500 specifications and found this for Supply Voltage and Current: 200 to 250 VAC, 50/60 Hz up to 20A. There is no mention of 120V, so your electrician will need to run a 240V circuit (probably 25A or 30A) to a correctly sized 240V receptacle. You'll need to cut off the 120V plug and install a mating 240V plug on that power cable. --- Mike N4CF ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected] ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
