Having a major issue that just appeared out of the blue today. The radio somehow powered itself off without touching anything. When I powered it back on it started to send CW "dahs" continuously without my touching the key.
I unplugged the key, and using a test lead jumpered the ring to the tip and ring to sleeve and the radio sent CW normally. I plugged a spare cable into the key and used a meter to test ring and tip connections and the paddles seem fine as well. I have no idea what just happened, but it is no longer possible to have my paddles connected. Is there a menu setting that might have gotten messed up at some point? It's been at least three years since I've done anything in the radio's setup menus and I've forgotten 99% of what's in there and how to access it. It was working fine yesterday, and up until the self-power-off occurred.
