Wayne, I’ve used both on the K3S Kenwood MC-60 w/std. Kenwood 8 pin connector Heil HM-10 w/Kenwood 8 pin connector
I don’t recall that there were any problems with the up/down switches or push-to-talk switch on the MC-60.
