I tried the Logitech G335 headset for SSB Sweepstakes this year with my K3s. They are affordable at $39.99 and seemed to work as well or better than my (now broken) Yamaha Headset. The receive audio seemed at least as good & a friend said the microphone sounded fine. The earmuffs are fabric rather than plastic (we'll see how that wears), there is no windscreen for the microphone (but that didn't seem to matter). My only complaint is that they have a volume dial that seems unnecessary. I taped mine to keep it from being inadvertently bumped (after a misguided "my radio is broken!" panic). I operated for 22-hours & found it to be a good purchase for me - and the price was right.
