For those of you who have dropped QRP-L, Jim Tittsler, 7J1AJH/AI8A, in Tokyo has a nice post on the Tokyo HamFair. AMong the gems:

year among all the new products were a couple that really caught my
eye. They were showing a prototype ("reference design") HT-200 QRP
transceiver capable of 10W on HF and 20W on 50MHz, with general
coverage receiver. They were also justifiably proud of taming some
industrial power FETs to produce a surprisingly small solid state
legal limit amplifier (see the article in the Sep/Oct QEX)."

Take a look; the HT-200 looks an awful lot like the long awaited K3! It even has the general coverage receiver many want. - Dr. Megacycle KK6MC/5

Boy, that sure does have an Elecraft look to it (panel color, LCD display, push-button switches). Kind of eery! Clicking on the picture will display a larger version.
