Yes, the Koss SB45 has always been the same thing as the CM500. I have had a couple of Koss SB40s which is the same thing with a dynamic mike over the years. Have worked and soundes good with every rig I have used them on. Hears and talks almost exactly like my Heil Proset-Plus. With the equalizer in my K3 & K4 you can make most any mike sound good.
