I'm sure I speak for many, and I would be very interested in a K3 if it has a general coverage receiver.
That's the main reason I can't seriously consider a K2 to meet my needs. I do a LOT of listening - far more than operating. So a compact mobile transceiver MUST have a general coverage receiver to be of interest to me. As far as price goes, you need to consider that the Kenwood TS-480SAT has all the features the K2 has, PLUS general coverage receive, PLUS 6M. It also comes standards with the remoteable control head.
