Just so you know, the new W-2 units do come with CAT cables (confirmed).
You can use any straight through cable that has all eight conductors and has RJ45 connectors. The W2 is just running DC and low frequency AC over the cable so it's not critical at all. In fact, Elecraft went from shipping the W2's with the flat cable like mine in early production to using standard CAT5 cables in later units.
