Good Evening,
It has been a snowy week. The precipitation has slowly changed to
rain. No trees fell, the snow sloughed off between storms. Probably a
foot of snow over the week, now mostly slush. Snowy trees caused a few
power outages. None of them longer than a few hours but I have not yet
reset the clocks.
The sun is almost bare of sunspots. There is a stream of ions on
the way; due February 24th. Propagation should be OK. Less noise, less
QSB. Let's test these hypotheses tomorrow. ARRL International DX
Contest runs until 2359z. Depending on activity levels the twenty meter
net may not occur. We shall see. Make sure to zero beat when you find me.
