Hello all. I am new to the reflector and have a new K2/100, S/N 5553 that I am really enjoying.
I am noticing a couple of strong spurious signals on 17m..18.088.4 (S5), and 18.104 (S4). I am running the RS232 output to my laptop, and when I unplug the serial cable on the laptop, the signals disappear...EVEN WHEN THE COMPUTER IS TURNED OFF!! I really enjoy using my logging program, but also enjoy 17m, and these strong spurs/birdies/unwanted carriers are right in the operating bands. Any suggestions??? Tnx.
