Jim, that's part of the KPA100 Upgrade Kit (Order KPA100UPKT). Do NOT simply remove RFC10. It comes out as part of a comprehensive group of upgrades to the KPA100 that largely interact, so you want to avoid doing only part of the change.
The documentation is available under "Manuals and Downloads" on at www.elecraft.com. The kit with parts and documentation is available by going to the clicking on "Order" on the main web site page, then scrolling down to SPARE PARTS, FIRMWARE AND MOD KITS just above ADD TO CART. That will take you to the SPARE PARTS AND MOD KITS page where you'll find a link to KPA100 Parts and Mod Kits that will take you to the page with the KPA100UPKT. If you've accomplished finding the kit on the web site, actually installing it will be "child's play" <G>. Oh, by the way, if you haven't already done so, you need to install the KPA100SHLDKT as well. Don't give up - it's only five items below the KPA100UPKT on the same page, Hi! I can see the absence of the choke in the latest manual, but can't see what else changed. Can anyone tell me the source for the mod. I am at that point in a KPA100 build and it would be good to know what changed and what the ramifications are of not doing the mod. Thanks.
