I found two callsigns: WA6BND and WV6VLY. These were mentioned on various Web sites as having once belonged to Woz. I couldn't find either one in the FCC or QRZ databases, nor could I find an expired license for Woz in the FCC database.
You might try writing through www.woz.org. It would be an interesting question for them to address at the site. It's a great read!. He mentions having a Ham licence in his 6th grade (not sure how old that would make him). Seemingly he read a book called "SOS at midnight" which got him hooked and then he built a Hallicrafters RX and TX. He even learned the code. I wonder if he is still active on the bands. He says a lot of nice things about ham radio in the book. Curiously yours, Steve _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr.
