Of more concern for people who use and like Morse Code is the impending
re-farming of current Ham CW spectrum for VOICE and other non-CW use
(a process already begun with a vengeance on 80 meters) ...

Between this and BPL, maybe I'll take up model railroading after all ...

Oh sorry...I should have said "When will we see rigs that are contructed to make it impossible to send CW?

One of the reasons I bought a K2 was that it was a serious rig designed as a
CW transceiver with SSB as an add-on, not the other way around.

That's pretty much how I viewed it...
