I got that one right, but made the wrong guess about the film on the
front of the LCD. I removed the polarizing strip and didn't discover
it until I got to the first test where you use the display, which was
blank, of course. I immediately ordered another one, but found the
removed strip, which was still slightly sticky and put it back on so
I could continue testing until the new LCD arrived. It's still there
working just fine, several years later.
