One thing that may help is to adjust your filters just a bit so that you are getting a little more lows than highs. Does not take much of a change though. If you do this, remember to do it for USB and LSB and for each filter (if you wish).

Is there any way to broaden out the bandpass to 3 KHz? I think it might help me a lot and many others too.
