I ran my FT817 for half of the NAQCC 160m sprint last night and the K2 for the other half. I love my Yaesu for its versatility on all bands, but the K2 was clearly the winner in terms of quietness on reception, soemthing often critical on 160. I was using a 1/4-wave wire at 12 feet or so, bent around the property line several times.
