Many thanks to all who repsonded to the this subject. I purchased a Mag Lamp from Office Depot this am. I also ordered new solder 63/37 .020" from Howard electronics instruments Inc. What a difference!! I can control the amount of solder flow much better and can see the PCB etc.. to a much greater degree. My confidence level is higher now, as I am starting on my 2nd K2 # 6008. My first K2 has numerous soldering mistakes, and as a future project I may attempt to resurect it..
