That's correct David. If they're installed backwards one may need to use a
non-conductive screwdriver to align them. The idea is to have the
screwdriver slot at RF ground. That way a metal screwdriver can be used. If
the slot is "hot", touching it with a metal screwdriver will detune the
circuit.

To the best of my ability (e.g. memory) I put the shorter flat side 
along the flat side on the silk screen, and the long flat side against 
the long rounded side of the silk screen.  I just finished my rig over 
the weekend and aligned it without issue.
