If you have any pull with the manual writer, you might suggest they add this procedure to it. I never would have guessed, for instance, that I must set the L parameter first. H and L weren't mentioned in the procedure on page 65. And also, the first thing you see in the SIG menu is the H parameter. (the one you're NOT supposed to adjust first) By the way, I can't see it being as easy as you suggest. When in the SIG menu, I won't be able to see the S meter display. So presumably there's going to be several iterations of going in & out of the menu items.
