Don, There are three menu setting that affect the LCD display.
1. LCD brightness (backlight brightness) 2. LCD Adj - Used to optimize the display when viewed at different angles 3. LED brightness - used to adjust the LED brightness compared to the LCD background brightness Hope this helps. 73 and thanks. The ARRL Dayton photo seems to show it as a traditional LCD display. Also noticed that there are separate SWR and Relative power graphs on the display for simultaneous viewing.
