I admit it’s been a few years since I’ve been away from home on a FD weekend so maybe things have changed. Has the “no-code” hysteria carried past the elimination of code as a licensing requirement and created a world where CW is no longer ‘politically correct’? I certainly hope not. I checked the rules and FD scoring hasn’t changed, CW contacts are still worth 2 points while phone contacts are only worth 1. It seems to me that any serious FD group would encourage CW. I have to assume that the two groups you contacted are not serious about FD and you’d probably be happier finding a more committed FD operation Steve ..
