Due to impending arrival of a K3 I am offering for sale the Ten-Tec transverter I have used to operate 6m using my K2. (See http://www.aoruk.com/tentec/kits/1208/1208.htm for more information.)
This transverter was built from a kit several years ago and has been set up to work with the basic K2 (no transverter module needed.) With 1W output at 14MHz the transverter gives about 7W output on 50MHz. I have worked all over Europe and Scandinavia and even made a few Stateside contacts using this transverter, barefoot, and a wire delta loop antenna in the loft.
