Besides. You could have all purchased an Ft-2000. I did. OUCH! I'll be waiting to buy the K3. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. And keep in mind that this is a time when they're getting the stream started. There's less history available, so determining the proper lead times is difficult. 73, doug From: ed palmer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wed, 31 Oct 2007 09:26:32 -0700 (PDT) Good morning everyone. I don't post on these lists because most times I don't feel qualified to offer viable information in most areas. However in a manufacturing environment in a major US corporation in which I'm still very active and to a certain level qualified, supplier issues plague us and in turn our customers. All it takes is a hiccup in the supply chain to cause delivery issues from that point down stream. All of this becomes very visible in a Lean Manufacturing operational philosophy. Whenever we are unable to meet delivery dates due to supplier issues for whatever reason we notify our customers the orders are going to be late then bow our heads and take the beating we know is coming. In the end the customers even if unhappy are glad we communicated the delay so they can formulate their own customer response if needed. 73 de Ed N0EHQ
