I've just completed s/n 6222 (no ATU yet)and have a question concerning tuning with a dummy load. If I set TUNE and slowly increase the power control the display does not increase linearly. For example I get .. 1.9, 1.6, 3.2, 3.8, 4.3, 3.3, 5.0. 4.4, 5.7, 6.4, 7.2 .. . Also when I exit and return to TUNE mode the display sometimes reads much less (for example 2.1 goes to 1.6). Is there something wrong here? Any help much appreciated.
