I haven't seen the T&B stuff at my local Home Depot, but they had Ideal and Data Shark oompression connectors and tools. I believe they are all interchangeable, although I doubt if anyone other than Thomas & Betts makes the BNC versions (which you probably couldn't find at Home Depot anyway). The compression type is much better than crimp.

Hi Mike,
I bought my T&B "Snap & Seal" connectors, stripper and tool at Home Depot.
It works well and easy to use. You don't use a crimper with these type
connectors.

In one of the earlier transmission line threads, someone posted that they
liked
the Thomas & Betts "Snap & Seal" connectors, but my search of the archive
doesn't turn up any hits.

Could that person (or others) let me know what tool they use to install
them?
Generic hex crimper, dedicated model, etc.? There are many out there, and
I'm
trying to get a feel for what's required or recommended.
