As far as I know, all of the compression-type connectors are the same(Ideal, T&B,ICC) meaning they are interchangeable. They are superior to crimp-style, and they DO make them in 50-ohm versions.

the Thomas & Betts "Snap & Seal" connectors, but my search of the archive

Could that person (or others) let me know what tool they use to install them? Generic hex crimper, dedicated model, etc.? There are many out there, and I'm
trying to get a feel for what's required or recommended.
