Not sure I understand your question, Dick. There is an SWR/Power meter
built in to the K3. It can be calibrated well against an external
standard. An external meter connects between the rig and the load
(antenna) for any rig. The existence of a KAT3 is irrelevant.

I've been reading the mail for a while, but am not sure this has been
covered. I scanned the K3 Manual, but couldn't find what I was looking
for...this: with the KAT3 tuner installed in the K3, where does one
hang an SWR/Power meter?

Rick, I mentioned in one of my emails the fact that I missed the pages
in the manual regarding the meter displays, which, I have since learned,
include SWR. My original question has been answered, thanks to the
great gang that hang around the reflector.
